Gwen Paltrow appeared on the show "Marriage Ref" with Jerry Seinfeld and Greg Giraldo, who is made fun of all the time on Comedy Central Roasts and only exclusively appears on Comedy Central. Jerry and Greg couldn't stop making fun, saying that the husband (The Rodriguezes of South Beach) is gay. They wouldn't stop making the jokes. Thank you, Gwen for stopping them. She put it wonderfully. She says that they should stay with the problem at hand. Oh god, even Seinfeld repeated his dumb line from his old show Seinfeld, "Not that there's nothing wrong with that."

The week started off on a sad note as news surfaced of actress Lynn Redgrave's death after a seven-year battle with breast cancer. The talented Brit, 67, was the sister of actress Vanessa Redgrave and the aunt of Natasha Richardson who passed away last year from a skiing accident. Lynn was twice nominated for an Academy Award, most recently for her role in 1998's "Gods and Monsters." She also appeared in small TV roles on "Ugly Betty," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "Desperate Housewives." "My heart goes out to Lynn Redgrave's family...very sad..," Denise Richards Tweeted. "RIP Lynn Redgrave. A wonderful actress, a gracious woman, always with a smile. She was total CLASS. She will be missed," wrote Marlee Matlin.
For stars living and playing in New York City, the dismal weather was at the forefront of their minds."Its far too humid in nyc and all i brought was cashmere...ugh," complained Emma Roberts. "... So should I wear a rain coat to the Met now? #endoftheworldthunderstorms," joked Katy Perry about tonight's Met Costume Institute Gala.

If you missed Conan O'Brien on "60 Minutes" last night, here's your chance to see it. O'Brien revealed quite a bit, further detailing what a horrible job NBC did with their mismanagement of their late night schedule. --- For all the fanfare describing Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg's adherence to accuracy and eye for detail in their series "The Pacific", the most expensive series to ever grace HBO, we were disappointed last night to see the unnecessary and completely false over-dramatization of the death of Sgt. John Basilone. Basilone, as befitting a Medal of Honor recipient, had highly detailed records of his exploits on Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima and we don't understand how Spielberg wasn't able to accurately, yet tastefully, depict the death of the war hero. Yet another black mark on a series that hasn't told us anything new, anything more accurate, or anything more personal about the experiences in the Pacific theater of World War II. At best, it's overpriced History Channel content with more gore. "Band of Brothers" it ain't.
