Veteran Hollywood actor Dennis Hopper has become extremely ill from his battle with advanced prostate cancer, according to multiple tabloid reports citing new court documents.

The "Easy Rider" star is currently in the midst of his divorce battle with his fifth wife Victoria Duffy-Hopper. The 73-year-old actor/director and artist filed divorce papers in January to end his nearly 14-year marriage to Victoria, with whom he has a daughter, Galen Grier, who turns seven on Friday.

The estranged couple is fighting over when and whether to take the actor's deposition.

But, Hopper's divorce attorney Joseph Mannis says in a declaration filed Wednesday in Los Angeles that the movie legend is dying and can't undergo chemotherapy to treat his prostate cancer.
