The 2010 Southern Conference champion Wofford will challenge #4 seed Wisconsin in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Jacksonville, FL at the 15,000 seat Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday, March 19th.
Wofford players, fans, and alumni celebrated Selection Sunday at Wofford's Leonard Auditorium. The City of Spartanburg also held a parade for the Southern Conference Champs.

Cinderella wanna-be Sam Houston State University was seeded 14th and given virtually no shot at knocking off 3 seed Baylor earlier today. However, Sam Houston State put on a gritty and impressive performance to keep it close until the very end. Baylor pulled away in the waning moments to finish with 68 - 59 victory.
With 3:48 to go Sam Houston State's Ashton Mitchell his a bucket to tie the game at 55 a piece, but that was as close as they would get again. Despite Clavell's 23 points and Brown's 13, Sam Houston wasn't able to keep pace with Baylor in the final 3 minutes after an 8-0 Baylor run.
